@Betty0610,
I did buy new ink cartridges and got the printer to print. So obviously the older ones were dried up. But I still cannot get the touchscreen to work. It's completely blank and if I touch it, it does nothing. So I have to do my scanning, copying, printing and sharing using the HP Smart app. I can't take advantage of all the features offered by the touchscreen anymore.
Edited to add: I did try the steps of unplugging, etc., and the firmware update, but that didn't help either.
