The model is the HP Officejet 7612. I just found the receipt for my last HP printer, the 6310. That one lasted six years, this one lasted a year and a half. I got it working for a week and a half or so and then it went back to the same error message, "Ink System Failure" with no error code. I press "Okay" on that screen and it goes to "Missing or failed printhead." There is a "Show me" button on that screen- when I press it it does nothing, shows me nothing. I had brand new printheads and extra ones. Changing the printheads did nothing, trying to use a pin and unclog the little plastic jets that fit into the cartridges does nothing, resetting the printer does nothing, every troubleshooting piece of advice does nothing. I already ordered another printer from a different manufacturer that comes today- no HP anything for me ever again.
