I'm on my second PC with the same issues. My connectivity is setup this way:
Comcast Router>WiFi Router (for range in house)>PC (and other wifi hookups)>printer
I can successfully print from my iPhone via Air Print to the printer.
However, anything from the PC will not print. I've tried the following:
1. Power down printer, restart.
2. Unplug and recycle both router and printer.
3. Shut down and restart computer.
I ran the HP Print & Scan Doctor. It says it fixed a port issue. The Wireless Network Test Print worked fine and weverything passed with no issues. Signal Quality is Excellent.
The printer continually loses connectivity for scanning. This is the second time I've experienced a printing issue. The first time was when I was setting up the new PC (current one) and had to find the download for the printer on the HP site (no longer can find the original CD).
Any help to get this rolling again would be appreciated.
Is there an issue with having the PC connected directly to the router (rather than connected wirelessly) and then the printer is on wireless? I have the printer on wireless rather than USB to allow for the Air Print from other connected devices (iPhones and laptops).
