Printer has been stored for several months.
Installed drivers, etc. everything looks good from the computer end. Connected by USB for the time being.
Ink levels are ok, paper loaded, but...when I wanted to print a test page, I got the message to load paper. The printer wont feed the paper. After a few times getting this message, I finally put a little pressure on the paper and it went through, the printer sounds like if it trying to print something, but nothing but the slight smudge of the roller marks, on the paper, comes out.
I have tried up to the secondary cleaning of the printing heads as well as removing the cartridges (genuine HP ones - that had been left in during storage) and cleaning what look like dried smudged ink from the bottom. Still no luck. I have not touched the contacts on the face of the cartridges nor the contacts , or anything else inside the printer.
Any ideas?
