I purchased a new printer yesterday, if it's relevant - it was the display. It came with ink and the technician told me it will work and don't replace it yet.
I got home and installed it. Seemed successful. Wifi worked right away, etc. When I printed a test page, it was blank. I went to the HP website to update any and all drivers/software, etc that was available.
Still printing blank pages. I have done a powercycle - a few times. Same issue. I have uninstalled the drivers/software, etc. and reinstalled. Same issue. At least it's still recognizing the printer?!
I uninstalled/reinstalled the PRINTER and all drivers/software, etc ... again. Same issue - blank pages.
I did all cleaning/diagnostics as part of the HP Smart App and on the printer itself. Still prints blank pages.
I googled....and cleaned the printer heads multiple times (video said they could be clogged). Eventually VERY VERY little ink printed on the page. VERY LITTLE. But, still obviously having an issue. I then notice, i wasted half of the black doing all of this! (Would be worth it if I could get it to work!)
So. Now I am stuck. I cannot find an HP Phone Support to call. Only virtual agent (which I did in the beginning - thus all the driver downloads, etc.) I also have a product warranty that I purchased but I cannot register it until 3 days after purchase. So, I have no one to call. HELP!
Do I just buy new cartriges? Really didn't want to do that. But I will if it's needed. Google seemed to have three options for a "fix" : 1) replace ink, 2) update drivers, 3) clogged printer heads.... please help. I am frustrated as I needed this printer to work ASAP.
