I can't print a custom envelope on my new Photosmart 6520. My PC is running Windows 7. I need to print the return address, but would also like to mailmerge and print the addresses too, but I can't get the return address to work. I've been printing envelopes without problem on a variety of HP printers for decades and I think I've tried everything I know to do.
I'm either getting a missmatch error, or the return address doesn't print in the correct location, or in the correct orientation. I get the missmatch when I load an envelope with the flap on the left side of the guide (as embossed). I don't get the error if I load the envelope with the flap running horizontally (I said I tried everything). I've also tried changing the orientation in the paper setup on the document, and also in the printer paper setup.
All of the HP and other support I find are the steps I tried first but don't work. Please help. Thanks.
