5440 'Double Prints'

My kid got a hold of the print 'ribbon' inside my 5440 and now it 'double prints' most text from nearly every program.  Text, charts, etc are all affected as are most images.

Looking at the internal hardware, the 'ribbon' is very loose and I'm guessing this is the cause of the problem.  Any way to fix this or get replacement parts.  I'd hate to have to scrap the printer because of one little part.
