Hi tenkros
Make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
Here is a document to clean the printheads. Go to Solution three: Use an automated tool to clean the printhead.
I would update the firmware on the printer.
I have included a link for the firmware update, just select the proper operating system and click next, select firmware. Download and run it.
Let me know if that helps.
