I am trying to print christmas card envelopes. Card are 5 x 7 . Using "pages" on my mac. (OS X 10.9), custom size at 5.25 x 7.25. Just a simple little return address and image in a corner, and hoping to run through printer to add addresses. Result: Jammed messages.... and there is no jam., sometimes and indicator that states the paper size is wrong, then more jamming. I pull out paper tray, open and close back, and then another envelope prints. We'll not going to do that 80 times..... After finaly giving up on our Laserjet cp1525nw and today, decided it must be the printer and broke down and purchased another printer.... now after several hours tangling with a brand new Laserjet 200 color MFP M276nw..... no avail. In researching this on line, it appears to be a common complaint. Really? HP printers cannot print 5 x 7 envelopes? Before I return this printer and convince my husband that HP is NOT the end all for printer, I'm giving this forum a shot. Grrrrr. Is there a solution? I hope someone has the secret! :smileyfrustrated:
