I have a 7310xi all in one. I recently installed it on a new desktop running windows 8.1. the connection is wireless. I can get the printer to print fine but cannot load the software. I need the software installation to be able to scan etc. I have downloaded it several times, uninstalled and reinstalled and always get the same result (I purge the temp file after each attempt). Everything goes fine with the download until the actual install screen comes up. Once I hit install i get the message "the system cannot find the file specified". i have tried hooking the printer up with a USB and still get the same results. I have tried using the HP print Dr, the install assistant and continue to get the same thing. If I could determine specifically what file can't be found maybe I could find It. I have made sure that all updates are current on the computer and tried anything that sounded even close I could fing on HP's site. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated!!!!!
