I have almost always had an HP printer. They have been reliable, consistently. I purchased this huge, all in one 4 years ago. For the last year at least, it has been giving me the 'can't find the print head' message. So, I unplug, and usually, after a few unpluggings, it comes back and can print, scan etc. However, sometimes I need it urgently and can't afford to have this crapola. I am ready to throw it out the window, and never buy a HP product again !
I am convinced it is a software issue. Can I reload the software, or is the only solution to throw it out and buy a different brand. Since it comes back and finds the printhead, it cannot be that the printhead needs to be replaced, or can it ? If so, then for sure it's the end of the line for me buying HP. I have tried many of the solutions I have seen online, but none have been a permanent fix. Any ideas , or is this model just a lemon ?
