The following may be helpful. Much depends on whether you are using "card software" (which has its own rules and "ways to do things").

- Printer Software installed (generally refers to the "Full Driver" or "Full Feature Software"
- PDF format
- Access to Adobe Reader DC (PDF view / print software)
- One sheet of paper (to be folded in half after printing)
- Printer supports "automatic" duplex

HP Smart can print in "booklet" style.
The following example uses "Letter" paper but the settings are generally the same for rectangular paper that will be folded in half with the small "book" printed in the portrait position (binding on left and is the "longer" side).
