HP OfficeJet 6700 Premium. I am experiencing many problems with my printer. My father's printer won't print, scan, or make photocopies. I am very frustrated. I get an error saying that "Scan to Computer is currently unavailable" and the screen on the front of my printer says "Checking Device. This process may take several minutes. Do not turn off the device, Do not open or close any covers." We have a Windows 7 operating system.
I have tried updating the driver for the printer, I completed this action, & yet unsuccessful again to fix the issue. I can't print from my Ipad, my dad's computer or my phone. I have tried the HP Printer Troubleshooter, no luck again to fix the issue. I have tried reading similar printer issues on your forums, but because I have tried for most of the day trying to fix this issue, I am at the point where I need help. Please help me.
