Hi,
I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500A which has suddenly developed a problem when printing any image file.
I can print any word document in black or in colour and it prints perfectly, but if I print a jpg file it prints with a pink or red tint.
If I print a screen grab from the web which contains coloured items and black text, the coloured items print out with their true colours (even black items) but any black text prints out pinky/red.
If I print photos from either a jpg file on one of the PC's or from a scan, the photo is completely covered by a red tint.
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit on multiple computers and they all print to the one printer with the same result.
All cartridges are genuine HP and all are full.
I have run print head cleaning and alignment functions on the printer.
I have printed a print quality report and everything is perfect.
I am using plain paper for all of the printing, but even if I use photo paper for the photos, they are still all tinted red.
Help!
