If you are having a "clicking" noise on your PSC 2500 series printer, use the following steps and you should be back in business:
1. Unplug printer
2. Hold Down "Cancel" and "On" buttons
3. Continue pressing both buttons while plugging the printer back
This procedure causes the scanner logic to reset and the problem goes away.
