It sounds like you are describing a defective fuser, it would take me an hour to replace the fuser in that machine.
I suggest you go to the feedroller.com website and look around, you'll find the service manual and then you can determine whether it's within your technical capabilities to replace the fuser.
You can also get a fuser film sleeve replacement but avoid the really cheap ones because they are really cheap and might not last very long, the fuser also needs to be properly lubricated when replacing the sleeve.
