As my tag suggests, I am rather economical. My largest printing job, by far, is printing 1/2 sheet labels for PayPal Multi-Order Shipping. If you're not familiar with this, it requires printing (in my case) batches of 10 labels using label sheets that have two labels per sheet. I print on half a sheet, peel off the label, and then turn the sheet around and feed the other half through. The lead of the label sheet which has the label still adhered is thick, but the tail end of the sheet is wax paper thin. Since the feeds are basically pulling and not pushing, this generally is not a problem. However, every once in a while, let's say 2 out of 5 times, the sheet has a hard time pushing up the last roller set on top of the printer. As a result, the first and sometimes second sheets are scrunchy (that is, if they make it through at all --- sometimes they jam) but after that the following 8-9 sheets come through smoothly. So, a brief recap, only the first two sheets have problems, the remaining sheets go smoothly. Economical? I used a rebuilt cartridge, I buy for about $25 and I use made-in-China labels at 1/10th the cost of Avery --- could that be a problem?
