Please try the below steps that should resolve the issue ..
- While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord and other cables from back of the printer .
- Wait for 30 seconds. then
- plug in the printer power cord to wall outlet directly and the other end to printer.
- When the printer is ON and ready, open the scan lid, then touch on copy black.
- Check of the scan carriage moves and a scan bulb lit. If yes, then now try making a copy, it should work.
