HP 3510 and HP 3050 prints only top left corner from my mac

Hello.

I have 2 HP printers: deskjet 3510 and deskjet 3050 J610.
I use Mac osx 10.7.2.

My printer hp deskjet 3510 has been working fine but since a couple days ago, it only prints on the top left corner of a page.  Everything (word document, online material, preview files, etc.) prints in 7.5x5.5 size with top 0.5 and left 0.25 margin.  The printed material is not only small (shrunken in size) but is also cut off.

I have been using HP printers for years and I did not have any problem with print settings in the past.  But I realized that this is a problem with my mac or the print setting on this mac because when I try to print from 3510 using a friend's PC, it prints fine.  
And I tried printing from another HP printer, 3050 J610, from my mac, and I had the same issue of printing only on the top left corner of the page.  

Recently I have changed print settings to print fast quality in black/white and to print 4 slides on a page, which I normally do on a regular basis.  I have always changed print settings and was able to get back to normal print settings.  
I have tried changing the print settings and double checked the followings:
Paper size: US letter 
Collate Pages
Scale to fit

If there seems to be nothing wrong with the print setting, could you please advise how I can change the printer settings to default, factory settings?
