I have an HP Deskjet 1000 J 110 series printer. It is attached to an Asus laptop. It has worked perfectly for 6 months and
tonight .... nothing. I had a message from HP saying that my printer isn't connected / is offline. I checked both ends of the USB ports, powered the printer down....nothing. I had a message in my computer saying I need a Printer Driver. It led me to an HP website where it has directions to download a printer driver. I'm hesitant because I don't understand why this would happen out of the blue. Is this from a virus? Should I download the driver? Should I just reinstall my printer?
Please help...I don't want to screw up my printer or my laptop if this is just some psycho driven virus that gives enjoyment to the low lifes who get off on this kind of crap !!!
