Just so I understand you correctly: Would you like to scan a document, then have an option to print? What is your operating system on your computer? Windows or Mac?
How is this printer connected to the computer? Wireless or USB?
When you scan a document from the printer, is this document not scanning into a letter-size page? If you scan an 8.5 x 11 document, into the computer, the scanned version default size will be 8.5 x 11. The only reason this would be different is if you manually changed a setting.
