photoshop c4599 printing in unwanted shadow font ??

Hi,

Very strange...I am printing 2"x2" avery labels.   The text prints out in a shadow/engraved font effect even though I did not select it.   I retyped everything in a separate document and it still prints the same.   When I connect to my brother printer, I don't get the unwanted shadow effect.  

Any help on how to alleviate this unwanted font effect would be appreciated.
