I have now re installed the printer software and I can now print more than one A3 page at normal speed. This has resolved my problem. Thank you.
For information I am running three Hp Printers K7100, Deskjet 3050A and Photosmart 5520. All are run using only HP inks. The K7100 and the Photosmart 5520 are used not only for printing on paper but also for printing on material ( natural fibres i.e. Cotton, Canvas, Silk.) These prints are then embroidered upon by my wife who uses them for exhibitions and competitions in Patchwork and Embroidery and she also uses them as teaching aids to her classes all round Scotland. I have never seen a print setting for any printer for material and how I set mine up is using 'Borderless Photo','best' quality and 'other photo papers' and prior to printing I adjust the original image to a higher contrast and slightly darken the image, this compensates for the absorbtion of ink into the natural fibres. If you would like to see images of what these finished articles look like I can send you jpg. files if it is of any help for your database of other uses.
